Great wine and cheese pairing

My friend took me as a treat and it certainly was just that. The vineyard tour was very interesting and the guides extremely knowledgeable about the history and the wines. Felt I learned quite a bit about the story of English wine and the challenges faced by the vineyards. The tasting was really good, delicious products and generous helpings! She had also added in a charcuterie plate which was delish. Well worth a visit or two and a really good gift idea for wine lovers.

Great tour with knowledgeable guides who tell you all the history of not only the vineyard but also the heritage of the grapes. The tasting offers generously sized tipples so best not to drive here to enjoy fully. Have to say the Rose was my favourite so purchased a take away bottle plus new to their experience some chocolate truffles even though we didn't get to sample them first they are very pretty and bound to be delicious 😋

We found this vineyard a few years ago and are very pleased that we did as their wine really is top quality. Our latest purchase is just as good as the first. No need to bother buying from anywhere else.

We had a super evening at the Cheese & Wine Pairing Evening. Our proprietors/hosts were welcoming, passionate and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the session and now plan to head back for the vineyard tour in the summer

We had a lovely afternoon at the vineyard. The tour and wine tasting was lovely and the owners and staff are very friendly and gave us a great tour and talk through the wine tasting. The price was great for the tour and tasting and we did the extra 2 wines for only £5! It was such a lovely family run business and the owners were so accommodating when I emailed asking if there were any more places available for the tour and despite it being sold out they added on 4 more tickets for us as it was for a birthday. The Tempest Bacchus from 2021 tasted amazing, one of the best white wines I've ever tasted!

Great wine tasting experience with friendly and down to earth hosts Allows you to ask the daft questions if you’re new to wine tasting ! Lovely tour around the vineyards with great info about the vines, the grapes, the processing and the history of the vineyards. Good wine at a reasonable price if you want to buy. Highly recommend!

My friends and I had a great afternoon at welcombe hills. The wine was delicious, the atmosphere was friendly and unpretentious and the vineyard is beautiful. Even though it rained we still couldn’t fault our experience. The food from The Farm was even better than we expected too. We will be back!

Went today as a gift. Beautiful, calm and peaceful place and John and Chris, our hosts, were very welcoming. We learnt so much in a short space of time about growing vines and producing wine in the UK. The wine tasting at the end isn't rushed or an afterthought unlike some similar tours. Recommend this hidden gem as somewhere to book and visit. Wines are award winning...and the visit should be too!
